The subjects of this photo essay are the mannequins of an area known as the Pratunam Fashion District of Bangkok, Thailand. Mannequins are the backbone of the fashion industry. They are used and abused but suffer in silence as they do their job. The wear and tear shows on their faces and their bodies as they line up for more of the same day after day. They reflect our humanity and our inhumanity in this microcosm of life in Pratunam. I dedicate this book to them. This is dummies for dummies!
